Once upon a time, there was a girl named Maya who had a teddy bear named Teddy. She loved Teddy very much and took him everywhere she went. She played with him, hugged him, and slept with him every night.
One day, she went to the park with her mother and Teddy. She saw a big slide and wanted to try it. She left Teddy on a bench and ran to the slide. She climbed up the ladder and slid down with a big smile on her face. She enjoyed it so much that she wanted to do it again and again.
She did not notice that a naughty boy had taken Teddy from the bench and ran away with him. He threw Teddy in a trash can and laughed. He did not care that he had stolen someone else's toy.
Maya finished playing on the slide and went back to the bench. She looked for Teddy, but he was not there. She searched everywhere, but she could not find him. She started to cry and called for her mother.
Her mother came and asked her what was wrong. Maya told her that Teddy was gone and that someone had taken him. Her mother tried to comfort her and said that they would look for him together.
They asked the other children in the park if they had seen Teddy, but no one had. They checked the lost and found office, but Teddy was not there either. They walked around the park, hoping to spot him somewhere, but they had no luck.
Maya felt sad and hopeless. She thought that she would never see Teddy again. She wished that he would come back to her somehow.
Meanwhile, Teddy was lying in the trash can, feeling scared and lonely. He did not know where he was or what had happened to him. He missed Maya and wanted to be with her again.
He heard a loud noise and saw a big truck coming towards him. It was a garbage truck that came to collect the trash. He realized that he was in danger and that he had to get out of there fast.
He tried to move, but he could not. He was stuck under a pile of garbage and could not free himself. He felt helpless and hopeless. He thought that he would never see Maya again. He wished that she would find him somehow.
Just then, he heard a familiar voice calling his name. It was Maya! She had seen the garbage truck and had followed it to the trash can. She had spotted Teddy's ear sticking out of the garbage and had recognized him.
She ran to the trash can and pulled Teddy out of it. She hugged him tightly and cried tears of joy. She was so happy that she had found him.
Teddy felt happy too. He felt Maya's warmth and love. He was so glad that she had saved him.
Maya's mother came and saw them together. She smiled and hugged them both. She was proud of Maya for being brave and smart.
They thanked the garbage truck driver for waiting for them and letting them take Teddy back. They said goodbye to him and left the park.
They went home and cleaned Teddy up. They gave him a bath, a dry, and a new bow tie. They made him look as good as new.
Maya cuddled with Teddy on her bed and told him how much she loved him. Teddy smiled and told her how much he loved her too.
They fell asleep in each other's arms, feeling safe and happy.
They never parted again.
