The Divine Saree: How Lord Krishna Saved Draupadi from Dishonor

Draupadi was the wife of the five Pandava brothers, who were the righteous and noble rulers of Hastinapura. She was a beautiful and virtuous woman, who was devoted to Lord Krishna. She considered him as her brother and protector.

Once, the Pandavas lost their kingdom and Draupadi in a game of dice to their wicked cousins, the Kauravas. The Kauravas were jealous and cruel, and they wanted to humiliate the Pandavas and Draupadi. They dragged Draupadi to the royal court and tried to disrobe her in front of everyone.

Draupadi was helpless and terrified. She prayed to Lord Krishna for help. She said, "O Krishna, you are my only refuge. You are the lord of the universe. You are the savior of the distressed. Please save me from this disgrace."

Lord Krishna heard her prayer and came to her rescue. He made her saree endless, so that no matter how much the Kauravas pulled, they could not uncover her. They became tired and frustrated, and gave up their evil attempt.

Draupadi was saved by the grace of Lord Krishna. She thanked him with tears of gratitude. She realized that he was always with her, and that he would never let her down.

The moral of this story is that Lord Krishna is the supreme friend and protector of his devotees. He will always help them in times of trouble, if they have faith in him and surrender to him. He is the source of all strength and courage. He is the ultimate shelter for everyone.

The end.
